When I retired I was given a three night writers retreat on Whidbey Island. I have been researching for the next book a historical fiction about Susanna White-Winslow who was a Mayflower Pilgrim. I’m frustrated with how one of the most important people of this time is forgotten. She not only lived, but kept her children alive, which is no minor feat. I brought 11 books, and I have been reading, googling and napping on her behalf. Hoping to find that first line.
Amazing the number of hours it takes to set up a page. So far only two tech supporters think I’m an idiot and the police have not been called. I have been convinced that I should have a 24/7 guardian, especially when it comes to tech.
